SCADA International delivers a control solution hybrid project to German Juwi AG with their innovative solution OneView® Energy Control Unit. During this year, SCADA International will help Juwi AG complete other hybrid projects in Germany.
SILKEBORG, DENMARK — May 6, 2021 — SCADA International is pleased to announce delivering control solutions for a new hybrid project for the award-winning company within renewable energy, Juwi AG.
Juwi AG works with wind and solar energy activities, and they also offer project development and EPC services for photovoltaic projects. The hybrid project consists of 6 wind turbines with a total capacity of 20MW and a 2.4 MWh battery storage. Juwi AG needed a solution to store green energy to stabilize the energy system against fluctuating asymmetries between supply and demand. They wanted to optimize the produced renewable energy generated by wind and solar using battery storage to balance the demand. At the same time, it was necessary to manage that the battery only stored renewable energy.
“The OneView® Energy Control Unit solution can support battery storage and selfconsumption systems, which is crucial for the hybrid project in Germany containing both wind and solar. SCADA International has already worked on multiple control projects in Germany, and this will be the third OneView® Control Unit supplied by SCADA International to Juwi AG." says CEO SCADA International Thomas Bagger, and continues: “We are proud to be working with such an innovative and ambitious company within renewable energy such as Juwi AG."
