We are excited to share the latest success in our ongoing collaboration with Solartech, one of Poland’s leading EPC contractors in the photovoltaic (PV) industry. For their new project, Jeziórko, one of the largest solar PV farms in Poland to date, Solartech has chosen SCADA International’s innovative systems dedicated for solar PV monitoring and control. Â
Located in the GrÄ™bów Commune, approximately 10 km from Tarnobrzeg, this expansive PV farm with an immense 100 MW capacity is set to become a significant contributor to Poland’s ecological and energy-efficient future. Â
Solartech is directing this turnkey project in three phases. The first stage, already completed, adds 50MW to the grid with 100,000 monocrystalline solar panels, each generating over 500 watts. The second phase will add another 50MW, and it is currently under construction. Future plans include expanding the farm to a total capacity of 220MW, providing energy to around 125,000 households.Â
The Jeziórko project is a key pillar in Solartech’s aim of accelerating the energy transition in Poland, which demands a dynamic development of solar PV across the nation. This is a journey that SCADA International is proud to be part of.
For this project, SCADA International has deployed the OneView® Solar Park Controller Plus together with the OneView® Park SCADA – solutions that are essential for the efficient operation and management of the farm’s 400 inverters. BartÅ‚omiej ZysiÅ„ski, CEO at Solartech, explains:  Â
“Today, the challenge is not to find ways to generate renewable energy. We have the technologies available. The challenge is how we manage renewable energy in an efficient and reliable manner. And we know that the people at SCADA International are experts in this area. Their advanced solutions are key to achieving our goals of green energy and sustainability. So, we are thrilled to work with SCADA International on this pioneering project.”Â
By offering robust monitoring and control capabilities, the technology ensures that the solar farm operates at peak performance, maximizing energy production and efficiency. The use of bifacial modules, which capture both direct sunlight and reflected rays, further enhances the farm’s energy output.Â
The partnership with Solartech is a testament to the power of collaboration in achieving excellent results in the renewable energy sector. At SCADA International, we are proud to be a part of this transformative project, driving the evolution of green energy in Poland.Â
