To be a part of this journey, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Director, who has experience with OEM outsourcing.

Reporting directly to the Chief Production Officer and Business Unit Owner for Outsourced Solutions & Services, you will play a pivotal role in developing new and existing customers by implementing strategies to drive sales growth, optimize customer relationships, and support various improvement initiatives within our Hardware and Installation business.

As Sales Director, you will drive new business growth and manage relationships with key OEM customers within the hardware and installation sectors. This role focuses on developing and executing strategic sales plans to expand the company’s footprint, conducting market research to identify emerging opportunities, and building compelling value propositions that address customer needs. You will lead efforts in acquiring new OEM clients, negotiating contracts, and securing large-scale deals while renewing and extending existing agreements.

Your main responsibilities will be:

Business Development & Sales Strategy

  • Develop and execute business development plans to drive new customer acquisition and revenue growth.
  • Lead the creation of sales strategies focused on expanding the OEM customer base and maximizing sales opportunities within the hardware, service and installation markets.

 

Market Research & Competitive Analysis

  • Conduct thorough market research to identify emerging trends, potential OEM customers, and new business opportunities.
  • Identify and pursue new OEM leads through targeted outreach efforts, including networking,

 

Customer Relationship Management

  • Build and nurture long-lasting relationships with existing and potential OEM customers, ensuring satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for large OEM accounts, ensuring high levels of engagement and proactive communication.

 

Contract Negotiation & Deal Execution

  • Lead contract negotiations with OEM customers, ensuring that terms align with company objectives while meeting customer expectations.
  • Manage the sales pipeline from initial engagement to contract execution, overseeing every step of the sales cycle.

 

Collaboration & Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Work closely with internal teams, including production, operations, and customer service, to ensure that all sales commitments can be fulfilled effectively.

 

Performance Tracking & Reporting

  • Monitor sales performance against defined KPIs, including customer acquisition, revenue targets, and contract renewals.
  • Provide regular reports and updates to senior leadership, highlighting key wins, pipeline developments, and areas for improvement.
  • Continuously assess and adjust sales strategies to optimize results and ensure alignment with broader company objectives.

The ideal candidate has over 5 years of experience in sales or business development, particularly within the hardware, installation, or renewable energy sectors. You must have a proven track record of acquiring and managing large OEM accounts and negotiating high-value contracts. A strong commercial mindset is essential, along with an understanding of technical aspects related to hardware solutions. The ability to build long-term relationships with key stakeholders. Frequent travel and adaptability in a dynamic, competitive market are expected (up to 50 days per year). Educational qualifications are less important than documented success in previous roles.

To be successful in this position, you have:

  • Proven ability to acquire and manage large OEM customers, delivering high-value contracts and fostering long-term partnerships.
  • Strong commercial acumen and results-driven mindset, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Technical understanding of hardware solutions and the ability to navigate complex, low-volume projects with high complexity.
  • Expertise in market research, competitive analysis, and value proposition development, ensuring the company stays ahead in a competitive market.
  • Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills, enabling the candidate to secure new business and renew existing contracts.
  • Adaptability and proactive leadership, thriving in a dynamic market environment while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
