OneView® Data Gateway
Normalize data and compare results seamlessly
The OneView® Data Gateway is the only SCADA gateway you will need, as it makes communicating with different manufacturers of wind, solar, and hydro assets possible. The system collects, interprets, normalizes, and delivers data from site servers or directly from turbine controllers of different manufacturer brands.
With the OneView® Data Gateway, you also get access to live and historical data and have the ability to send start and stop commands to the turbine controllers.
Direct access to all data
The OneView® Data Gateway allows you to access all your data in multiple ways. There is no need to replace the local SCADA solution if you are looking to repower the park, meaning you can avoid costly SCADA upgrades. Due to our independent software, you can install the gateway solution in parallel to the existing software by connecting directly to renewable assets. The opportunities are countless.
Central service
The central service consists of a Southbound Interface, logical
drivers, and a Normalized Data Layer.
The southbound interface allows the OneView® Data Gateway to
access the raw data and supports multiple old turbine interfaces
and all-new open communication standard interfaces like OPC
DA, OPC UA, and ODBC. The raw data needs to be interpreted, and
there might be special rules related to collecting historical data
and sending commands.
In the normalization layer, the data is streamlined to the
chosen configured normalized data mode, IEC 61400-25 as default.
Database
All data, both live and historical
data and events, are saved and
stored in the Microsoft SQL data
management server.
Client interface layer
Once the data has been retrieved, normalized,
and stored, it is made available to the client
through a Northbound Interface via the optional
SOAP XML, OPC DA or IEC 60870-5-104 Slave.
The data can also be made accessible to
a SCADA system or other third-party systems
like ERP or ETRM software systems.
Get full ownership and data transparency
The system is designed to give ownership of all data to the asset owner, allowing for more secure operations and business opportunities. All data is located on the customer’s server, giving the owner full control of user access and rights.
Get a scalable and independent data gateway solution
Due to our unique expertise in driver development, we are one of the few global solution providers offering independent software that can communicate with all kinds of wind turbines with multiple site servers or turbine controllers of different OEMs.
The fact that we can communicate with numerous systems allows for simple scalability in parks and projects. With every project, each implementation becomes easier and quicker. You don’t have to think twice about operating a wind park with different manufacturers and systems, and your data will look the same across all your assets.

Streamline your SCADA data to reduce system complexity
We understand our customers’ need to transform and deliver data to a specific format and source to gain correct data. Streamlined and comparable data reduce data complexity and pave the way for simple asset management.
The data presented in the OneView® Data Gateway solution are based on the IEC 61400-25, IEC 61850-7-4, and IEC 61850-7-420 standards for wind turbines and solar PV parks, respectively. The data are normalized in our data tag-lists for simple comparison and analysis.
